Power BI Weekly

Issue #87 - 1st December 2020

This week we've had the official announcement regarding the New export settings in the Power BI admin portal which I highlighted in the editorial last week - do check them out if you haven't already. The Power BI team has also written a blog about Moving on-premises AS and RS BI solutions to Azure - and closer to Power BI, referring to the new SSAS and SSRS VM images in the Azure Marketplace. A great stepping stone to moving solutions fully into Power BI and the cloud.

Elsewhere this week, Reza Rad has spoken about Power BI data source isolation using dataflows - How is it and what are the benefits? Gilbert Quevauvilliers has described How to enable dataset sizes larger than 10GB for Power BI Premium or Power BI Premium Per User, and finally (something fun for those of us in the UK), Alison Box has put together a comprehensive report based on "Strictly Come Dancing" Telling the Story Behind the Numbers with Power BI.
