Power BI Weekly Issue 86: 24th November 2020
In the last week, Arthi Ramasubramanian Iyer has told us that that the On-premises data gateway November 2020 update is now available, including a new Hive LLAP connector, software updates and deprecation notices, and Chris Finlan has taken us on a tour about the new Power BI Premium Per User Administrative Settings, which include the now-more-granular (and therefore flexible!) export settings, allowing an admin to toggle exporting on and off on a file-format basis. Elsewhere this week, Spencer Baucke has continued the 'Power BI for Tableau Developers' series, this time talking about Slicers & Filters, and Colby Ford has written about ingesting and analyzing Bioinformatics and Genomics file in Power BI.
