Power BI Weekly Issue 84: 10th November 2020

Just the one update for you in what has been a relatively quiet week, and that's the Paginated Report November 2020 Feature Summary, which includes new sample reports to help you get up and running, the capability to "search" for values in parameter dropdowns, the ability to download an RDL file from the Power BI Service, and the option of applying the "page view" mode as a URL parameter. Read that blog to find out more

Elsewhere this week, Matt Allington has updated an old blog describing Affordable Power BI Premium for Small Businesses, factoring in the new updates around the new Premium Per User licensing option. One thing that's particularly interesting is Microsoft's new stance on using Power BI Embedded as an affordable means for accessing Premium content - it seems there's a bit of ambiguity here. Read Matt's blog for more information. Otherwise, a couple of technical bits of content for you this week: Patrick Leblanc has described Why you should use DAX Studio with Power BI with which I concur wholeheartedly, and Zhenbo Wang has described how to Convert the start time and end time into multiple rows with 30 minutes interval using both M and DAX methods.
