Power BI Weekly

Issue #73 - 25th August 2020

A few announcements this week. One is that AutoML now supports applying models in PQO Function Browser, which means you can utilize ML models that have been created by other people in the same workspace, rather than just the ones you've created in the Dataflow you own. We've also been told that the On-premises data gateway August 2020 update is now available, and we've been given a summary of the recent data protection updates.

In other news this week, Daniel Otykier has described how to easily generate a dynamic measure selector using Tabular Editor, and Meagan Longoria has described how to Fun with Power BI and Color Math. Finally, Erik Svensen has shown the true flexibility that the External Tools functionality in Power BI Desktop allows, by detailing how to Connect your Power BI desktop model to Tableau Desktop. Yes, you read that right!
