Power BI Weekly Issue 57: 5th May 2020

There have been a number of announcements in the last week. Firstly, Power BI lineage view is now GA, and dataset impact analysis has been introduced, Subreports are now available for Paginated Reports, and link previews for Power BI are coming to Microsoft Teams (but it might take a few weeks to get to your tenant, so be patient). We've also been told about Some important updates to our monthly release cadence for April and May 2020 which it's worth taking a look at.

In other news this week, Prathy Kamasani has described the Progressive disclosure design approach in Power BI using Card pattern, Chris Barber has written about Column-Level Security - 2 Methods for Restricting Column-Level Information, and Jon Acampora has written about 4 Ways to Fix Date Errors in Power Query + Locale & Regional Settings.

Finally, Rishi Sapra and Naveen Ganpat have created a set of quizzes for the DA-100 exam on their Learn Data Insights site, which also includes a number of other helpful resources for other data analytics tools. Elsewhere, Rishi, Naveen and Chris Barber have created a "Power Platform Finance" community, with fortnightly webinars discussing financial reporting & analytics using the Microsoft Power Platform.
