Issue #52 - 31st March 2020
There have been a number of announcements in the past week, possibly the most exciting of which is that of the public preview of the read/write XMLA endpoints in Power BI Premium / Embedded, providing much more flexibility around dataset management, debugging, testing etc. Also announced this week is the General Availability of Query Diagnostics, the new Performance Improvements for Multi Geo Premium Capacities, and the New Gateway management features on Power Platform Admin Center.
Elsewhere this week, Soheil Bakhshi has written about Highlighting Below Avg Sales per Hierarchy Level with SWITCH() and ISINSCOPE() DAX Functions in Power BI, Marco Russo has written about Controlling Format Strings in Calculation Groups, and Adam Saxton has described how to Make navigation easier with Power BI buttons.
