Power BI Weekly Issue 46: 18th February 2020
I want to start by congratulating the Power BI team on the result of the Gartner 2020 Magic Quadrant for Analytics and BI Platforms, where Microsoft has been classed as a "Leader", with the strongest position on the chart. Well done!
Announcements this week: we've been told that E-Mail Subscription support for external e-mail addresses is coming soon in Paginated Reports, we've been given the On-premises data gateway February 2020 update, and finally, in Power BI Embedded, we've been told that the Power BI report authoring APIs now support a new aggregation function.
Elsewhere, Semjon Terehhov has described how to Read API Data with Power BI using Power Query, Chris Hamill has described Matrixed Report Navigation, and James Broome has written about Azure Analysis Services: How to open a connection from .NET.
