Power BI Weekly Issue 33: 12th November 2019

Blimey, what a packed week last week was. So many announcements and updates to digest... Arun Ulag has got most of them covered in this blog, and for completeness, here are all the referenced blogs:

Be sure to still read Arun's blog, though, as there are numerous other smaller announcements which are just as worthy as the rest (the decomposition tree looks amazing!)

Elsewhere, we've been told about the 50+ New Features in Dataflows this month! and we've been told that it's now possible to Embed paginated reports in your own application for your customers (in preview). On the Azure side, Power BI Integration with Azure Maps is now in preview, and Power BI now supports direct query for Azure Database for PostgreSQL.

Finally, if you want to check out any of the Power BI-related sessions from Ignite, you can find them here: Power BI related sessions at Ignite. My particular favourite is this The future of content lifecycle management in Power BI, detailing the new DevOps features coming to Power BI in the coming months. It's been a long time coming!
