Still no official announcements, which is likely because the Power BI team is gearing up for FabCon Vegas - we should prepare for an onslaught of updates next week I should think! Talking about FabCon, my colleague Barry and I are making the trip across the Atlantic to attend. If anyone reading this is also attending and would like to meet - please reach out! Enough about me - onto this week's highlighted content, which comprises a few videos. First, Reid Havens has been joined by Miguel, Andrii and Injae talking about Power BI Core Visuals - What's New & Exciting! (March 2025), covering the updates from the last quarter (how is it the end of Q1 already?!). Sticking to the visualization theme, Bas Dohmen has shown a couple of methods to Show Charts Only When Needed - a really useful trick to achieve conditional displays of visuals based on the filter context. Finally, Rahim Zulfiqar Ali has provided a nice demonstration of using the Tabular Model Definition Language (TMDL) View in Power BI Desktop.
