Power BI Weekly
Issue #300 - 18th March 2025
Welcome to the 300th edition of Power BI Weekly! How time flies. To mark the 300th edition, there are absolutely no official announcements. So let's get straight into this week's highlighted community articles. First of all, Alberto Ferrari has written about a new feature around Using visual calculations for conditional formatting, which, at least in his opinion, is a "match made in heaven". It certainly looks like that's the case! Elsewhere, Chandeep Chhabra has walked through a nice solution to a common requirement to Switch Calendar & Fiscal Year in One Click, and Dániel Gábor Patkós has written a couple of detailed blogs around how to Build Your Power BI CI/CD Pipeline with the Best Practice Analyzer - Part 1 and Part 2, walking through various elements of the BPA, describing the differences with the UI and CLI and showing how to fine-tune the checks to serve your model's needs. Well worth a read.
