Power BI Weekly
Issue #282 - 29th October 2024
Welcome to the 282nd edition of Power BI Weekly! This week we've got an article from Jeffrey Wang diving into the the new filter behaviour I highlighted in last week's editorial: Understanding the Impact of Value Filter Behavior. Jeffrey gives us some insight into the history of auto-exist and the justification for the new behaviour, as well as a worked example to understand the change. Well worth a read. Elsewhere this week, a couple of bits of content that go hand-in-hand: Rick de Groot has showed us how to Create a 445 Calendar in Power Query M (a common accounting requirement in multiple industries), and Marco Russo has also described Using weekly calendars in Power BI (this time using Bravo to generate them), providing some example measures to show how they can be used.
