Issue #274 - 3rd September 2024
No announcements this week, so let's dive straight in with this week's highlighted articles. The first is by my colleague Jess Hill, who's started a series on Why Power BI developers should care about Power BI projects PBIP. A lot of you probably haven't had a reason to try it yet, but bear in mind that it's not just useful for locked-down, heavily controlled Enterprise reports; it's also useful for batch editing (making mundane tasks quicker) and it makes simultaneous collaboration easier. Do take a read, and keep an eye out for additional blogs in upcoming weeks. Elsewhere this week, Laura Graham-Brown has described how to get Azure DevOps Data into Power BI, Nadim Abou-Khalil has spoken about Limited Relationships in Mixed Query Modes, and Sharon Rutto has described How to build customized Power BI dashboards with user insights data in External ID by using some beta Graph APIs to gather metrics about your external users.
