Power BI Weekly Issue 186: 13th December 2022
A flurry of announcements this week. Firstly, we were told that we now have Enterprise scorecards with hierarchies and linked metrics in Power BI Metrics, allowing the cascading of scorecards (opening up new exciting functionality like viewing scorecards as a "heatmap") and enabling us to reference the same metric from multiple scorecards. We've also been told about the simplification of capacity management with unified v-cores, the fact that Dataset refresh cancellation is now available in Power BI Premium, and that you can now Subscribe to a report with filters applied.
Elsewhere this week, Darren Gosbell has shown the power of Deneb, describing how to Building a Bump Chart in Power BI, and Chris Webb has described the options to Share Excel Reports Connected To Power BI Datasets Or The Excel Data Model/Power Pivot Using OneDrive For Business.
