No announcements whatsoever this week, so straight onto the community articles. To kick things off, James Serra has written a great article about whether you should be using Power BI as a enterprise data warehouse solution, particularly given the addition of Datamarts. The key things to understand are the tradeoffs if you opt to do this - in some orgs, particularly those who are maybe starting out on their digital transformation journey, those tradeoffs may be OK - it all depends on the scenario. Then again, you may not label a data platform as an "enterprise data warehouse" in those scenarios. Anyway, do have a read. Elsewhere this week, Jess Hill has written about the differences between RELATED and RELATEDTABLE in DAX, Salvatore Cagliari has explored the Filter Context with DAX functions with a number of examples, and Prathy Kamasani has described how to use a Tree Map as legend on a page in Power BI.
