Power BI Weekly
Issue #115 - 22nd June 2021
Quiet week on Microsoft's front this week, but plenty of community content to sink your teeth into. There is one update to share, and that's a bunch of information about the Updated timeline for upgrading classic workspaces, which includes functionality such as the "Upgrade all" feature which will be available for admins this October. Otherwise, Michael Kovalsky has run a Power BI Dev Camp session, talking through the Best Practices to Improve Power BI Performance and Design which you can check and enforce using Tabular Editor, Ruth Pozuelo Martinez has demoed how you can use An Eyedropper for Power BI by installing the Microsoft PowerToys utilities, and Teo Lachev has outlined the Top 5 Reasons to Switch to Power BI Gen2 if you need some convincing as to whether to take the plunge.
